Roger Deromedi is executive chairman of Pinnacle Foods, The Blackstone Group's U.S. food company and also provides advisory services to other private equity firms regarding food and beverages. He has more than 30 years of experience in the global food industry and was previously the CEO of Kraft Foods, the world's second largest food company. During his career at Kraft, Mr. Deromedi held a number of leadership positions including co-CEO of Kraft Foods; president and CEO of Kraft Foods International; president of the company's Asia Pacific business; president of Kraft Western Europe, based in Zurich; and area director of the company's businesses in France, Iberia and Benelux, based in Paris. Previously, he led Kraft's cheese and specialty products businesses in the United States. He began his career with General Foods in 1977. Mr. Deromedi earned a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1977 and a BA in economics and mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 1975.
